What We Do
School of Health Sciences
St. Joseph's School of Health Sciences is an accredited nursing school located next to our Rift Valley Hospital. Most students live on-site in dormitories. Students gain practical experience working at the hospital and have high pass rates.

St. Joseph's Rift Valley Hospital
Our 70-bed hospital offers a full suite of services. We can help with emergency, out-patient and in-patient treatments. Our staff includes clinicians, physiotherapists, nurses, and doctors in a range of specialties.

We're open 24/7, and most patients receive treatment the same day.

St. Joseph's Njoro Clinic
In early 2023, we opened up a new medical facility in Njoro. We opened with a robust staff, including highly trained nurses and doctors and a pharmacy and lab. There is room for in-patient services, including maternal care.

We will continue to expand the Njoro clinic and welcome new patients and walk-ins.

Garden and dairy
To improve sustainability (and health) as well as reduce costs, we grow much of the food we serve to students, staff, and patients on-site. We have a seasonal vegetable garden, fruit trees, and a greenhouse.

We also have a flock of chickens for fresh eggs, and a herd of cows for meat and dairy.
